Red Thread II
RED THREADŽ II piping is an unlined, filament wound product ideal for light chemical services in salts,
solvents and pH 2-13 solutions that corrode traditional metal pipe. It has been used extensively with great
success for petroleum production applications such as saltwater handling, CO2, crude oil and gas, food
processing services, water and wastewater facilities, HVAC,and chemical processing services. The T.A.B.
(Threaded and Bonded) joint offers quick installation for long piping runs.

These products are used to transport highly corrosive fluids primarily found in enhanced oil recovery activities.
In these applications, high pressure FRP injection lines carry station to injection wells. Additionally, line pipe
is also used in lower to medium pressure gas and oil flow lines where corrosive fluids are encountered.
Size Range:
1 1/2" - 8"
Temperature Range:
Up to 150 degF / 65.5 degC
Pressure Rating:
up to 2750 psig
Construction:
Anhydride Cured Epoxy with Premium Fiberglass Reinforcement.
Joint Types:
API 8rd Advanced Composite Thread (ACT)
Chemical Service:
Flow or injection lines, transfer or disposal lines for Oil, Gas, Saltwater, CO2 and H2S
